Non disclosure
Every communication relating to a project, or product design brief is treated as confidential. To ensure the secrecy of prospective clients, Bluelarix Designworks prefers to sign up an unambiguous confidentiality agreement before discussing any ideas.

Please return a completed copy to Bluelarix Designworks before disclosing any confidential information. We are normally happy to complete client versions of similar agreements.

Copyright Act
According to the Dutch copyright legislation the designer is always the owner of the design. We follow the general terms and conditions of the BNO (dutch association of designers) in which is stated that you, as our client, will gain an automatical and exclusive license to reproduce and manufacture the design on an industrial scale. It is of course possible to negotiate the full ownership of the design.

Licensefee
In order to keep our hourly rates of a Design Quickstart project extra low, we carry a bit of the risk of development as well. We do that by keeping the fees extra low and charging a licensefee per manufactured product at the moment the product enter production. The licensefee could be a yearly fee or a small fee per product.

For all other projects we normally do not charge licensefees.
